Mr. Schaufler has written a number of plays, sketches, skits, and other various pieces for literary journals, stage, school, camera, and even churches. He specializes in more abstract avant-garde material.

2019: Mr. Schaufler's short play entitled "Peaceful Rage Whilst Walking Into the Sun: A Poetic Word Play" was published in the esteemed literary journal Southern Indiana Review.

Assume Good Intent
This video was created by Mr. Schaufler's students as a project to discuss conflict resolution. Students participated in discussion, planning, group writing activities, rehearsal, and finally "shooting" the video. Mr. Schaufler advised the students through the entire project and edited the footage. The final step was to present the project to younger grades and use questions created by the students. These students learned how to be mentors and role models for the younger classes.
